Jennifer Vasquez

Jennifer Vasquez never planned on writing a children's book. She was too busy building a career, raising two kids, supporting her husband, and somehow ending up as the mom of a show pig named Earl.

Jennifer served eight years in the United States Air Force as a K-9 handler, living out the core values of integrity, service before self, and excellence in all she does. I still carry those same values today — and I've passed them down to my children.

When her family brought home Earl, a Berkshire show pig with a personality bigger than his pen, Jennifer quickly realized this pig was something special. Earl had a way of making everyone around him smile — kids, adults, and strangers alike. He was, in every sense, a character.

The Earl's Big Backyard Adventures series was born from those real moments — the muddy mornings, the jackpot show nerves, the unexpected friendships, and the lessons a pig named Earl taught a whole family about heart, humor, and home.

Jennifer lives with her family, their animals, and of course, Earl. She hopes these books bring as much joy to your family as Earl has brought to hers.
